Earth Songs by the Vineyard
A tranquil corner of the world, for those who choose the road less taken.

There’s a line from a poem that has stayed with me since I read it in school—“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”
Somewhere along the winding roads of music, machines and adventure, I craved stillness. Not silence, but something else. Something slower. Something quieter. And so, I chose a different road—away from the crowds, into the very heart of the hills.
That is the path that led me to Kukkal, a tiny, untouched village near Kotagiri—between Ooty and Coonoor. There, on the edge of a valley with only bird song and hush of the hills to accompany me, is Earth Songs by the Vineyard.
It’s not exactly a resort. It’s a stay, yes—but a story too. A space carved out from the love of the land, for silence, and for the deep desire to reconnect – to nature, to self, and to time. The vineyard, one of Asia’s highest , adds its own rhythm to the air, changing colour seasonally, humming softly to those who stay long enough to listen.
I designed this retreat for those who yearn for that pause. For travelers, not tourists. For seekers, not scrollers. For anyone who believes that sometimes the most stunning views accompany the toughest turns—and that real luxury is warm sun, misty dawn, and unhurried conversations.
Earth Songs at the Vineyard is how I share the peace I discovered here. It’s where you can breathe, heal, sit around a fire and have time to stand still. It’s where I finally knew what it is like to take the road less traveled—and how it really does make all the difference.
